A classic combination: the raspberry and mango smoothie – enjoy x
- 1 mango
- 3 apples
- 1 punnet of raspberries
- A few spoonfuls of Greek yogurt
- Splash of orange juice
- Pomegranate seeds (a pre-packed punnet of seeds will be the easiest)
You will need
- Chopping board
- Sharp knife (always keep these away from children and use carefully)
- Smoothie blender – a blending stick will work too, but you will need a jug or container to blend in!
Prep your fruit – slice down each slide of the mango stone to remove the fruit (see this handy tutorial if you’ve never attempted mango before), peel and core the apples. Cut the apple and mango into chunks and place in your blender. Chuck in your punnet of raspberries and your pomegranate seeds (as many as you fancy!), a few tablespoons of greek yogurt (will thicken your smoothie so stop when it’s at the right consistency for you) and add a splash of orange juice.
Remember you can easily adapt this recipe to your prefered tastes – hold off on an ingredient if you’re not sure, then taste and add until perfect!
Now blend, blend, blend – make sure you leave the blender on for long enough to break everything down into a nice smooth consistency.
Pour and enjoy…
